I have been taking photographs for many years but never really entered anything until the Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau Photo contest. My friends told me I should enter, and about halfway through the contest , I did. When I saw they had selected nine of my photos for the coffee-table book they put out, from over 32,000 entered by 1,300 photographers, I went right out and bought myself a new camera. I also entered two juried contests, and did very well. After always checking out the photograph booths at the art and craft shows, I said to my wife: 'I can do that'. I set up my own booth at a few local art shows. The response to my photos was great, but people were always asking if I had a website, hence, the creation of this site. As far as defining my style, I would have to say very varied. I love action pictures, and sports, which I've always participated in, and coached. However, I also love landscapes, funny shots, portraits, and many, many pictures of the shore. Situational photos and the expressions on peoples faces are especially fascinating to me - so, I would have to say my favorite thing to photograph would be people.
